Ingredients:
Salt and pepper to taste
4 medium-sized potatoes
Olive oil (optional)
Aluminum foil
Preparation:
Begin by washing and scrubbing the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
Pat the potatoes dry with a paper towel.
Using a fork, prick each potato several times to allow steam to escape during cooking.
Season the potatoes with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil if desired, ensuring even coating.
Tear off four large squares of aluminum foil, enough to fully wrap each potato.
Place each potato in the center of a foil square.
Wrap each potato tightly in the foil, making sure there are no gaps or openings.
Arrange the foil-wrapped potatoes in a single layer in the crock pot.
Cover the crock pot with its lid and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours, or until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
Once cooked, carefully remove the foil-wrapped potatoes from the crock pot.
Unwrap each potato and serve hot, optionally topped with your favorite toppings such as butter, sour cream, chives, or shredded cheese.
Enjoy !
