Beef and potato casserole

Ingredients:

°1 lb. minced meat

°1 package of cooled mashed potatoes

°⅓ c. Bread crumbs

°½ large onion, chopped

°¼ c barbecue sauce

°1 large egg

°2 tbsp. chili powder

°1 C. bacon chops

°1 c. Mexican cheese mix

°Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Preheat oven 375 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, add ground beef, onions, bread crumbs, BBQ sauce, eggs, chili powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix to combine completely.

Place the meat mixture into a well-greased 9×9 baking dish.

Bake for 20-25 mn, to cooked through.

Drain off excess fat.

Cook the mashed potatoes according to package instructions.

Spread the cooked potatoes over the meatloaf mixture in the baking dish.

Top potatoes with grated cheese and bacon bits.

Put oven on the grill and leave it on the fire for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
